Section of I-10 dedicated to former MPD officer

By an act of the Florida Legislature, a five-mile stretch of Interstate 10 in Jefferson County is now designated as the Senior Inspector Rita Jane Hall Memorial Highway. Hall, who was killed in a traffic accident in 2018 at age 59, was a longtime law-enforcement officer, a former Monticello Police Department (MPD) officer, and a Jefferson County resident.
