See Jefferson County’s demo pollinator garden
In March of 2024, the UF/IFAS Extension in Jefferson County was awarded a grant from the Apalachee Audubon Society to install a pollinator garden at its facility on West Washington Street. The goal of the pollinator garden is to educate the community on the importance of pollinators and the native plants that pollinators feed on.
Jefferson County's pollinator garden is a demonstration site encouraging community members to grow more pollinator plants in their home landscape.
