Senior center invites silent auction bids

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The board of the Jefferson Senior Citizens Center (JSCC) is sponsoring a silent auction now through Thursday, Dec. 21. JSCC Director Mazie Woodson-Glenn asks the community to please support the center's mission as much as they can, and the silent auction is just one opportunity to contribute financially. “A successful auction is important,” says Glenn, “because the center receives limited funds, but there are so many needs in the community.” The auction items, which can be viewed at the center, located at 1155 N.
