Senior Center to hold fundraiser lunch event July 24

Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc. The Jefferson Senior Citizens Center has planned a fundraiser lunch for Friday, July 24. At the fundraiser, volunteers of the center will be serving up plates of fish (choice of mullet, tilapia or swai) with sides of baked beans, coleslaw and bread, complete with dessert and complimentary water. The cost is a $15 donation per plate. Lunches can be enjoyed at a table or taken to-go. The fundraiser will be at the Center (1155 N. Jefferson St.) from 11 a.m.
