Service call leads to Fentanyl drug bust

According to a press release provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) to the Monticello News, two deputies with JCSO responded to a 911 service call on Nov. 6. Deputies Roddy and Smith, accompanied by JCSO K9 Shadow, responded to a call from a resident near Gamble Road about an unknown subject that was parked on their property.
When they arrived on the scene, the deputies discovered an individual asleep in their vehicle. The individual was awoken and identified himself as Tessari Harris, and told the deputies that he had recently been released from prison.
