Share the warmth: Donate coats and winter accessories

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Has your child outgrown a coat recently? Or do you have a coat you're just not wearing much anymore? What about scarves, socks and gloves? You can help put this winter wear around the shoulders, hands or feet of someone who needs the warmth. United Force of Jefferson County is currently collecting donations of gently used or new coats. They can take coats that would fit infants, toddlers, school-age children and adults of all sizes. Donations are being accepted now until through Friday, Dec. 29, and can be dropped off Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Creative Moments Learning Center, 535 N.
