Has your child outgrown a coat recently? Or do you have a coat you're just not wearing much anymore? What about scarves, socks and gloves? You can help put this winter wear around the shoulders, hands or feet of someone who needs the warmth.
United Force of Jefferson County has begun collecting donations for its annual Coat Drive. They can take gently used or new coats that would fit infants, toddlers, school-age children and adults of all sizes. Donations are being accepted now until through Sunday, Dec. 1, and can be brought to two locations. On Mondays through Fridays, donations can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Creative Moments Learning Cen
