Sheriff’s Office gets funding to combat opioid deaths

County officials recently approved an implementation plan developed by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) for the use of opioid recovery funds to purchase lifesaving equipment for deputies’ use in emergency situations.
