Shooter apprehended by JCSO

Early Saturday morning, on Jan. 25, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) responded to reports of a shooting that took place in the area of Gaffney and St. Augustine roads of Jefferson County. According to a public statement issued by the JCSO, they believe this to be an isolated incident, and the suspect was apprehended and taken into custody. This is an open investigation, and more information will be provided at a later time, pending further statement from JCSO.
