Solar facility ordinance final hearing set for Nov. 16

Last week, the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners postponed the second public hearing on an ordinance “related to solar photovoltaic collector systems,” commonly referred to as solar farms. The hearing, originally rescheduled for Nov. 2, was moved to Thursday, Nov. 16, due to the unexpected death of Commissioner Stephen Walker on Oct. 29.
