Song of the week: “A Thousand Times”

Mickey Starling ECB Publishing, Inc. At the risk of sounding cheesy, I’ve probably heard this week’s selection a thousand times. While that is surely an exaggeration, We are Messengers’ “A Thousand Times” is well worth multiple listens. The song was released in 2024, featured on the album, “Where The Joy Is.”  The first verse takes us on a journey down memory lane, recalling moments of brokenness, despair and injustice. Yet, we are reminded that God was there, and He turned many of our disappointments to victories.
