With October in full-swing, many residents of Monticello may be looking ahead to the upcoming weeks for spooky-themed events and Fall Festivals that are quickly creeping up on them.
For those who are seeking some Halloween-themed festivities, here are a couple to mark down in your calendars!
Thursday
Come to Downtown Monticello on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for this year's 3rd Annual Ghoul's Night Out! Grab your best girlfriends for a festive night of shopping, treats and ghostly fun in Downtown Monticello, where most businesses will be participating, offering refreshments, discounts, drinks, music and games! Costumes are encouraged! FREE to attend and open to the public!
Friday
On Friday, Oct 29, come out and join in on an afternoon of fun, live music, games, and food for this year's Creepy Cornhole Tournament. This event will be held at 6 p.m. on East Dogwood Street. There are currently 14 team spots available, and the cost is $40 to register a team. This event is sponsored by Capital City Bank, although there are still additional sponsorship opportunities available for Board Sponsor ($250) or Table Sponsor ($125).
