Spreading winter cheer

Santa’s elves are already busy spreading winter and Christmas cheer at Jefferson County K-12 School. School Board member Gladys Roann-Watson and her husband Chief Kent Watson recently provided coats and hats to 22 students in need, so that they will stay warm in the cold winter months ahead.
Roann-Watson has had a passion for helping the students in Jefferson County for more than 25 years as she worked as the school nurse at Jefferson Elementary School. Although retired from that position, she still shares her resources and time to ensure that the needs of our students and their families are met.
