Spring Gardening Workshop offered March 12 and 19

De'Anthony Price UF/IFAS Extension – Jefferson County Are you thinking about having a vegetable garden this Spring? Please join us for Spring Vegetable Gardening 101. The two-session workshop will provide educational materials and a tour of the demonstration gardens (weather permitting) to learn about growing vegetables in the Spring. The first class is on Tuesday, March 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jefferson County Extension Office, located at 2729 W. Washington St. During this class we will go over site preparation, fertilizing and gardening techniques. The second session is planned for Tuesday, March 19, at the same time and place.
