The National Association of Letter Carriers, the National Rural Letter Carriers Association (NACL), along with the United States Postal Service (USPS) and their national partners will be holding their “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive on Saturday, May 14. You can participate by bagging non-perishable food items and placing them next to your mailbox. Your letter carrier will take care of the rest.
Letter carriers across the nation will be collecting bags to food supplies to be delivered to local food banks and pantries. Suggested items include: pasta, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, canned goods, soup, canned fruit and vegetables and canned meat. Donors are asked to avoid glass containers.
