State continues review of Trulieve’s application to modify troublesome pond

The Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) continues its review of a permit application from Trulieve to modify the stormwater pond that has repeatedly overflowed into an adjoining property owner’s land. The permit application, which the agency received on May 13, asks for a decoupling of the stormwater pond and sediment sump to allow for the two to function independently of each other. The work entails lowering the pond by a foot and modifying t
