Stephen Walker commemorative sign unveiled

The Jefferson County Commission last week unveiled the memorial sign that will be installed in the Wacissa area to honor the late Commissioner Stephen Walker, who was killed in an auto accident last October. The yellow and brown road sign, which was displayed at the Jefferson County Commission meeting on Thursday evening, June 20, will be placed at the corner of State Road 59 and Wacissa Springs Road, near the entrance to the Wacissa River Park in the namesake community.
