Structure fire reveals no definitive cause Fire Chief advises residents to hold off on outdoor burning

Heather Ainsley  ECB Publishing, Inc.  On Sunday, April 27, Jefferson County Fire Rescue (JCFR) responded to a call about a reported brush fire located at an address off of West Capps Hwy., in Monticello. When rescue personnel arrived on the scene, they discovered that there was also a structure at the scene that was fully involved in flames, although it was difficult to determine if the structure was a house or a shed.
