Have an idea for a story or have a story to share? Email it to reporter1@ecbpublishing.com along with any related photos.
Letter to the Editor:
600 Words maximum – please email monticellonews@ecbpublishing.com with the subject line Letter to the Editor. We publish these at our discretion and are printed exactly as submitted – no proofing or editing will be done. Any letters that are slanderous will not be published. Opinions are welcome, but keep it PG rated. Your name MUST accompany your letter or it will not be published.
Obituaries and death announcements:
400 words $50
600 words (max) $60
May include a photo. Email Bookkeeper@ecbpublishing.com to submit. All obits and announcements will be published as provided – no proofs or edits are done. Only AP formatting will be applied.
Birthday, Wedding, Engagements, Anniversaries, In Memory or Thank You’s:
$25 with a 300 word maximum. You must provide an email for proof approvals.
Classifieds, For Sale, Yard Sale& Employment ads:
ALL Classifieds must be pre-paid, no exceptions. Call us at (850) 997-3568 or email Bookkeeper@ecbpublishing.com to submit a classified. An email must be provided for proof approvals. $20 per column inch. (there are approximately 20 words per column inch. Your classified price will vary depending on actual column space.)
Legal Ads & Publications:
ALL legal publications are required to be submitted as a .doc, .docx or .rtf file for publishing. PDF's are NOT accepted and will be subject to a $25/page conversion fee.
Email Bookkeeper@ecbpublishing.com to submit your legal notice - faxes and telephone calls will not be accepted.
Affidavits will be mailed via USPS after the last run of your legal notice and after payment has been received. No exceptions. We do not provide electronic affidavits.
All legal notices are published as submitted, so please be sure that all spelling and grammar is correct before sending. No editing will be done. You are responsible for any mistakes in your legal publication.
