The Jefferson County R.J. Bailar Library (375 S. Water St.) is kicking off its summer reading program with a party today, May 30, at 1 p.m.
This year's program features the theme “Color Our World,” highlighting art and its intersection with literature.
The library will host crafting opportunities, offer books on art history, show animated movies and more. It's all being kicked off with a glow-in-the-dark themed party with crafts, coloring and painting. You can also pick up your reading log and reading bag, which will include art supplies, at this event.
