Tallahassee 13U wins Babe Ruth World Series

Kathy Egan ECB Publishing, Inc. The Tallahassee 13U Babe Ruth team won the Babe Ruth World Series on Aug. 23. The team played the final game of the tournament in Jamestown, N.Y. The tournament was the culmination of a winning season, and the win brought the team to a 6-0 record for the tournament and a 14-0 season. The team battled not only competitors, but also extreme heat during the regional games that led them to the World Series. In the regional tourney, they defeated Greenville 4-0,
