The Avera-Clarke House seeks a spot on the National Register

Hailey Heseltine  ECB Publishing, Inc.  Another one of Monticello's beautiful historic homes is vying for recognition, and this time, it's the Avera-Clarke House, the yellow two-story house from 1890 that's served the city as a bed and breakfast for decades now.
