The chance to “bee” the best!

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. In coordination with this year's Farm Tour, GrannyKat's Apiary and Bee Learning Center is hosting a Beehive Painting Contest! Here's everything you need to know! There are currently 12 nucs at the apiary waiting to be painted. A nuc is a special box that starter bee colonies live in until they are ready to be moved over to a bigger hive. Anyone is welcome to take a hive home and paint it, but some rules apply: 1. Contestants/Artists must be 14 years of age or older to participate. 2.
