The Luckie Pearl cuts a red ribbon at new location

This summer, The Luckie Pearl boutique marked four years in business with a relocation and significant expansion. Owner Vicki McLuckie first opened her shop's doors in Monticello in June of 2020, amid the coronavirus pandemic. Her original space occupied a mere 150 square feet of the mint-colored, revamped gas station at the corner of Jefferson and Pearl streets.
Almost exactly four years later, the store made a catty-corner move to 240 N. Jefferson St. where McLuckie has expanded her inventory toward filling 2,000 square feet. The new location puts her boutique in closer proximity to other downtown merchants and in the path of more regular foot traffic
