The Spirit of the People Committee to host Black History Month Celebration Feb.21

Presley Contributor The Spirit of the People Committee invites the Jefferson County community to celebrate 100 years of Black history on Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon in the community room at the Jefferson County R.J. Bailar Public Library. The celebration is part of a larger focus on the 250th birthday of the United States. The purpose is to share Carter G. Woodson’s 1926 vision of
