The Who We Were event of May 2024

Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc. At 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 6, the second Who We Were event of 2024 was held. This session's location had been changed from its usual place at the Monticello Courthouse to the Monticello Woman's Club, located on Pearl Street. Despite the last-minute change in location, a good crowd showed for the event. As usual, the session was opened by Jefferson County Historical Association (JCHA) Executive Director Jack Carswell, who explained that the Who We Were events are a part of a series of talks given by local speakers about the history of influential Jefferson County families, and they are the cooperative effort of JCHA and the Aucilla Research Institut
