Thoughts from the past and present: On history

As many of you probably know, I've been regularly writing history articles in the Jefferson Journal for a little over two years now. People notice, and because of it, one of the questions I probably get asked the most is why I like history. It's a hard question to answer. History simply interests me. I can't really articulate why.
