Thoughts from the seat of a zero-turn mower

Unlike many who retire to a smaller place, I retired to a house on 5.77 acres. Later, we added 3 more acres to our holdings. Fortunately, part of the purchase price of the house included a zero-turn mower. Fortunately also, I enjoy mowing and sitting on the mower gives me time to contemplate and think. For instance, what’s the best way for me to mow 8.77 acres? Much the same way you eat an elephant: one bite at a time.
