Tigers and Warriors tangle in district tournament

On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) Warriors hosted their cross-county neighbors, the Jefferson County K-12 School Tigers in the first round of the Class 1A District Four Basketball Tournament. It was a closely-contested game throughout much of the contest. But, in the end, it was the Warriors who would progress on to the district semi-final, posting a 71-60 win over the Tigers. The Tigers took an early lead, and at the end of the first quarter the score was 19-17, in favor of the Tigers.
