Tigers edge Stingrays

The Jefferson County High School Tigers picked up their first win of the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 29, when they defeated the visiting Stingrays of Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, from Pensacola, Fla., with a 23-22 final score. With the win, the Tigers improved their record to 1-1. The Tigers (1-1) will now go on the road to Niceville, Fla. to face the Rocky Bayou Christian School Knights (1-1), on Saturday, Sept. 7.
