Tigers fall to Marauders in season opener

Rick Patrick ECB Publishing, Inc. On Friday, Aug. 22, the Jefferson County Tigers varsity football team traveled to Tallahassee to face the Marauders of Maclay School. Although the Tigers moved the ball well with a balanced offense, the Tigers were defeated with a 31-6 final score. The Tigers amassed 105 yards of offense on the ground while throwing the ball for 120 yards. Defensively, the Tigers limited the Marauders to 54 yards rushing and under 140 yards through the air. “Mistakes
