On Friday, Oct. 14, the Jefferson County High School Tigers hosted the Wildcats from Wildwood High School. Turnovers were costly for the Tigers, with two fumbles and three interceptions, as the Tigers were defeated, 56-6.
The Tigers struggled to move the ball, managing just 30 yards of total offense for the game. The Tigers had 59 yards passing, but had -29 rushing yards.
The Tigers (1-6) will now host the Bulldogs of Taylor County High School on Friday, Oct. 21. The Bulldogs are coming to Monticello off a 35-12 defeat at the hands of the Wakulla High School War Eagles. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m., at Tiger Field.
