Tigers sink Buccaneers

The Jefferson County High School Tigers improved their record on Friday, Sept. 13, by shutting out the Buccaneers of North Bay Haven Academy, from Panama City, Fla., with a 28-0 final score. With the win, the Tigers improved their record to 3-1 so far on the season.
Malik Johnson was named the Offensive Player of the Game for the Tigers for his 85 rushing yards and two touchdown passes while throwing the ball for 138 yards. Vincent Chambers earned Defensive Player of the Game honors for his six tackles and a “scoop-six” fumble recovery for a touchdown. The Special Teams Player of the Game was Xavier Miller, who scored on a two-point conversion and h
