The Jefferson Somerset Tigers racked up 221 yards of total offense on their way to a 38-0 shutout of the Vernon High School Yellowjackets on Friday, Sept. 24, in Vernon, Fla. The Tigers went out to a 26-0 first half lead and did not look back from there. The Tigers' defense held the Yellowjackets to just 85 yards of total offense.
Next up for the Tigers is a contest on the road with the Baby Rattlers of Florida A and M High School, in Tallahassee. The game is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 1. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
