Top Shelf Band to play at MOH on New Year’s Eve

Leonia Maresch Contributor With a simple post on Facebook in the year 2016, seven musicians got together and formed the number one band in Tallahassee – Top Shelf Band. Since then, six of the artists have continued to work together striving to be the best of all times. In 2019, the band received their first “Best of Tallahassee” award from Tallahassee Magazine, and they continued to be named Best Local Band four more times, including in 2024. They are truly exceptional and can perform a wide variety of music genres. Mike Smith, the drummer, said, “We just love to play! We get together once a week and have fun. We are looking forward to playing at the Monticello Opera House.”
