Tourist development group tightens policies, ups grant amount

Lazaro Aleman ECB Publishing, Inc. The Tourist Development Council (TDC), which is charged with the promotion of tourism in the county, continues to undergo changes in its policies and programs. Most recently, the Jefferson County Commission approved revisions to the TDC’s grant program policy, along with following the group’s recommendations and awarding a $500 grant to each the Jefferson Arts Gallery, Inc., and the North Florida Wildlife Center (NFWC). Among the stipulations for the gr
