Elder Miles Robison and Elder Max Colton are the two Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints missionaries that are currently serving the Jefferson County/Leon County area.
These two young gentlemen have traveled across the United States to spread the word of God. Both Elder Colton and Elder Robinson were born in Utah, but in two very different cities, and never would have figured their paths would cross.
Elder Robinson comes from a small family with two older sisters. He enjoys taking hikes and challenging himself and his family’s brains in war games. He is wanting to return back to Utah after his mission is complete and finish his higher education with Utah State University in mechanical design. Elder Robinson has been on his mission for approximately a year and has traveled to Jacksonville, Fla., Douglas Ga., and Tallahassee, Fla.
Elder Colton is from Spanish Fork, Utah where he has five siblings and a twin sister who is his best friend. He competed in different athletic events in high school including running, track and swimming. Elder Colton was not originally assigned to Florida for his mission. Due to COVID restrictions he was assigned to Argentina but stopped. Elder Colton was sent to a school for six weeks where he learned to speak Spanish for the purpose of spreading Christ’s love to anyone and anywhere in the world. He is wanting to attend Brigham Young University (BYU) and study to become an Astronaut.
During their mission both young gentlemen want to invite the community to come under Christ.
