County Commissioner Chris Tuten is scheduled as the guest speaker for the next Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce lunch meeting at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 420 W. Washington St.
Tuten is the chairman of Jefferson County Economic Development and will be giving a presentation on the state of the county, followed by an opportunity for Q&A. Jefferson County Economic Development is committed to assisting companies, site consultants and investors in finding the right site for their business. It also helps existing businesses to thrive and grow. Assistance is available with Feasibility Analysis, Site Selection & Analyses, Local, State & Regional Government Coordination, Identify & Coordinate Public Financing & Grants, Market Resources, Environmental Assessments and Site Plan Development.
Lunch for the Chamber's Tuesday meeting is $15 and will be catered by Tupelo's Bakery & Cafe.
