Two government leaders to speak at Chamber luncheon on property assessments

The Monticello-Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly members' luncheon on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at noon, at the First Methodist Family Ministry Center, located at 325 W. Walnut St.
The program will present information on property assessments, collections, disputes and fraud alerts. The panel of speakers includes local government leaders who handle these issues: Property Appraiser Angela Gray and Clerk of Court Jason Welty .
Table centerpieces for the luncheon are being provided by the Property Appraiser's Office, and one lucky person at each table will win one.
The meal costs $15 and will be catered by The Porch on the Green. Please RS
