Two killed in crash - ECB Publishing, Inc.

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. On Monday, Feb. 19, a single-car crash on I-10 in Jefferson County near mile marker 235 eastbound resulted in the death of two people. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, a sedan traveling east left the roadway to the right and struck a tree on the shoulder. Both the driver, a 54-year-old male from Jacksonville, Fla., and his passenger, a 54-year-old female also from Jacksonville, were pronounced dead at the scene. FHP was assisted at the scene by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Madison County Sheriff's Office, Jefferson County Fire Rescue, Madison County Fire Rescue and an off-duty Customs and Border Patrol agent.
