Two members of VFW Post 251 recognized

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc.  The June 1 meeting of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 251 in Monticello, Fla., included special recognitions for two of its members.  Lt. Col. Jimmy Bellamy Jr., a member and Jefferson County native who now lives in Senora, Ga., was visiting and was celebrated for his recent retirement on May 31, 2025, from the U.S. Army. Bellamy, an ordained minister, served as an infantry soldier and Army chaplain. He is a veteran of The Gulf War (1990-91).
