U.S. 90 trail still coming into part of Jefferson County

For the third time in as many months, the proposed multi-use Trail from Leon County to Monticello was a topic of official discussion, most recently before the Monticello City Council. At the request of city officials, Greg Slay, executive director of the Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency (CRTPA), made a brief presentation about the trail to the council on Tuesday evening March 5. The CRTPA is the metropolitan planning organization responsible for coordinating the transportation planning within the capital region, which includes Jefferson, Gadsden, Leon and Wakulla counties. Interestingly, Slay confirmed that the part of the trail from Ped
