Union Hill church supports assault survivors

Joyce Wilson Contributor Union Hill A.M.E. Church, under the leadership of Rev. Barbara Thomas, continues to make a difference in Jefferson County through its outreach efforts with Refuge House. The church recently held a collection drive to support domestic violence and sexual assault survivors across the Big Bend Area. Essential items such as shoes for job interviews, toiletries and hygiene products were gathered to help survivors regain confidence and stability. Union Hill A.M.E.
