In observance of Veterans Day, the American Legion Otto M. Walker Post 49 will be sponsoring The 2022 Veterans Day Parade in honor of our military veterans. The Veterans Day lineup will include a community breakfast, guest speaker, raffle games and a silent auction!
The American Legion will be hosting their annual community breakfast from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Post, located at 1065 S. Water St. This breakfast is free and open to the public. All are welcome to come and enjoy a hearty meal as they listen to this year's guest speaker,(insert speaker). After the speaker, the winner of the raffle will be announced. This year, the raffle prize will be an AR 15 rifle. Gift baskets will also be available for the silent auction. Even if you do not wish to participate in the auction or the raffle, donations are welcome and appreciated. The breakfast is free for all to enjoy, and is sponsored by Post 49, its members and local businesses.
At 11 a.m., the Annual Veteran's Day Parade will begin. All groups, clubs, organizations and individuals are welcome to join in for this year's parade!
