Vance Drawdy arrested for cocaine possession

Vance Harris Drawdy, who has qualified as a Republican candidate in the 2024 election for Jefferson County Sheriff, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 29. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 6:12 p.m. on a charge of Cocaine Possession (a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of $5,000) as well as Attaching a Plate/Tag Not Assigned (a second-degree misdemeanor).
