Vendors and parade entries sought for MLK Day events

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Plans are well underway for Monticello's 44th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. parade and celebration, which will take place on Monday, Jan. 20. Organizations that would like to participate in this historical event should apply by Friday, Jan. 10. There is no fee to enter the parade with a float, car, truck, van, band, dance group, etc. The parade starts at 11 a.m. at the Capital City Bank, located at 800 S.
