Wacissa Christian Church launches monthly community supper

The next supper is set to take place on Sunday, Jan. 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and will feature a soup bar, cornbread, salads and dessert. Pastor Brandon Gallups and the congregation of Wacissa Christian Church began offering the suppers two months ago, when their board was looking for a way to reach out into the community and create relationships with other people in the Jefferson County area.
