Wacissa United Methodist Church held its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 2 on the front lawn of the church building. The event was well-attended, with many local children enjoying the crisp fall day in the sun.
The Youth Ministry had several different fun stations set up for the children to enjoy face painting, coloring, games and storytime sessions.
The band, 2540 Ministries & Anchored Worship, was very much enjoyed by all. The group, comprised of students from the University of Mobile Southern Baptist College, traveled from Alabama to share their songs and music. They are a non-profit ministry with exceptional attention paid to supporting drug rehabilitation for former users.
