The United States Census Bureau, in preparation for the upcoming 2020 Census, is hiring for a variety of local positions that will be instrumental in preparing this year's census information.
In order to inform the public on the available positions, as well as what those positions entail, the Census Bureau will be hosting local informational sessions in Madison, Perry and Monticello.
These information sessions will be held for several hours each day, so attendees will want to plan for the proper allotment of time.
The upcoming Monticello meeting will be held at the Jefferson County R.J. Bailar Public Library on Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 2-4 p.m. The library is located at 375 S. Water St.
The upcoming Madison meeting will be held at the CareerSource North Florida on Friday, Feb. 21, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. CareerSource is located at 705 E. Base Street, in Madison.
The upcoming Perry meeting will be held at the Big Bend Technical College on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 1-3 p.m. The technical college is located at 3233 S. Byron Butler Pkwy.
