The Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) Warriors had no trouble dispatching the Eagles of Joshua Christian Academy, from Jacksonville, during the home game on Friday, Oct. 18. With a final 41-6 victory, the Warriors improved their record to 8-0 for the season.

Jace Grant had one run, a 37-yard touchdown run for the Warriors. Brady Browning went 11-for-14 with 138 yards through the air.
Brandon Hannon was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the Warriors. Will Sullivan was named the Defensive Player of the week for his six tackles. The Warrior of the Week was Brady Browning.
In addition to the rainy-weather game, the ACA Warriors hosted a special recognition ceremony during half-time for former athletes.
From the halls and fields of Aucilla Christian Academy, generations of alumni have gone on to hold elected seats, feed America through farming, own businesses and contribute to society.
Some of those alumni were recognized at the Friday, Oct. 18 half-time when the school hosted a special ceremony in honor of their 50 years of education, ministry and sports.
Several former athletes and cheerleaders who had played and cheered on ACA's first football team and cheerleader squad were welcomed onto the field. And during a pre-game ceremony, the individuals were recognized as honorary captains for the night.
Next up for the Warriors will be a home game against the St. Johns Country Day School Spartans, on Friday, Oct. 25. The Spartans have a record of 3-3 and are coming off a narrow, 38-36 victory over the Generals of Georgia Christian School, from Valdosta. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
